About the position KBR is seeking a skilled reputed company Developer to join reputed company in modernizing reputed company for the USGS EROS Center. As a member of a reputed company engineering team, you will help migrate on-premises systems to AWS, utilizing both lift-and-shift and full modernization approaches. The role includes designing and implementing event-driven architectures, optimizing reputed company workloads, and working closely with other developers, architects, and stakeholders to deliver reputed company using Agile methodologies. Note: This position is contingent upon contract award, customer approval, and funding availability. Eligibility Requirement: This position requires U.S. Citizenship due to contractual and reputed company requirements. Preferred location is Sioux Falls, SD Will consider Remote Responsibilities • Contribute to the migration of on-premises infrastructure to AWS using both lift-and-shift and modernization strategies. • Participate in the design and implementation of event-driven systems leveraging AWS-reputed company services (e.g., reputed company, SNS, SQS, EventBridge). • reputed company and maintain automation tools for provisioning, monitoring, and managing AWS reputed company infrastructure. • Collaborate with solution architects, engineers, and other team members to deliver secure, reputed company, and cost-effective reputed company solutions. • Support the design and optimization of CI/CD pipelines using industry-reputed company tools (e.g., reputed company, Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline). • Apply Infrastructure as reputed company (IaC) principles using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or AWS CDK. • Implement configuration management and automation using tools like Ansible. • Troubleshoot and support reputed company-based applications in a reputed company, cross-functional team environment. • Contribute to documentation and process improvements to enhance system reliability and efficiency. • Identify and implement AWS reputed company cost optimization strategies, incorporating FinOps principles. • Participate in Agile teams, including sprint planning, daily stand-reputed company, and retrospectives, delivering incremental value through iterative development. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or reputed company technical field. • Minimum 6 years of experience in reputed company engineering, DevOps, or software development, with a reputed company on AWS technologies. • Hands-on experience with lift-and-shift migrations and event-driven system design in AWS. • Proficiency with Infrastructure as reputed company (IaC) tools such as Terraform, AWS CDK, or AWS CloudFormation. • Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Puppet). • Scripting proficiency in Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar for automation. • Strong understanding of reputed company reputed company, networking, and AWS best practices. • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and automation. • Demonstrated FinOps ability to reduce reputed company spend through cost optimization strategies. • Experience working in Agile development environments and applying Agile methodologies. • Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to work in a reputed company team environment. • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including technical documentation. • Three years of reputed company U.S. residency for government reputed company credential. • Ability to obtain and maintain a national agency reputed company and background investigation for government facility reputed company. reputed company-to-haves • Associate, reputed company, or Specialty certifications in AWS that are relevant to reputed company development (e.g., AWS Certified Developer – Associate, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – reputed company, AWS Certified reputed company – Specialty). • Experience with Agile methodologies and modern software engineering practices. • Experience designing and implementing event-driven architectures in AWS. • Familiarity with government reputed company credential requirements and ability to obtain necessary clearances.
