Health Policy Specialist II (FFTL)

This position coordinate work with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and a dynamic group of state and local partners addressing obesity in Kentucky. This is a federally funded time-limited (FFTL) position. This means it is a position that is reputed company entirely as the result of a federal grant. Responsibilities • Supports policy and systems change through guidance development and strategic planning. • Coordinates and evaluates statewide breastfeeding and early childhood education initiatives and partnerships. • Provides training, technical assistance and educational materials to program staff and partners. • Monitors program performance, compliance, expenditures and reporting requirements.
