As a Phone and Chat Specialist, you'll be part of a collaborative and fast-paced environment that values innovation, teamwork, and customer satisfaction. **Key Responsibilities** As a Phone and Chat Specialist, you'll be responsible for: * Managing large volumes of inbound and outbound calls in a timely and efficient manner * Navigating multiple chat channels simultaneously to provide seamless customer support * Following established communication scripts to handle various topics and customer inquiries * Identifying customers' needs, clarifying information, researching, and providing solutions and alternatives * Accessing company and client resources to accurately handle calls and provide exceptional customer service * Performing data entry and customer service skills to ensure accurate and timely completion of tasks * Navigating online systems efficiently to verify nurses' credentials and facilitate shift requests * Working requests and records received for nurses requesting to sign up for shifts * Identifying customers' needs, researching to determine if requests have the necessary credentials * Demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to cross-train as requested * Maintaining punctuality and attendance at all scheduled times * Remaining positive and professional in all customer interactions **Essential Qualifications** To succeed in this role, you'll need: * 1 year of customer service or customer support experience * 1 year of previous call center or office background experience required * Technical savvy and ability to navigate online systems efficiently * Previous remote work from home experience a plus * Quick learner and ability to work independently * Type 35 words per minute accurately * Strong phone and verbal communication skills, along with active listening * A background check applicable with state and federal laws **Preferred Qualifications** While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable: * Previous experience in a healthcare-related field or industry * Familiarity with online verification systems and credentialing processes * Experience working with diverse customer populations and handling complex customer inquiries * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines **Skills and Competencies** To excel in this role, you'll need: * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills * Technical savvy and ability to navigate online systems efficiently * Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment * Strong attention to detail and accuracy * Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive customer information **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At arenaflex, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop their skills.
