Remote Construction Estimator

Per-Project Trade Estimator (100% Remote | 1099) Drywall | Metal Framing | Insulation | Fireproofing | Spray Foam | Painting Baybuild Estimators is expanding our network of reputed company trade estimators to support reputed company construction reputed company reputed company. This is a 100% remote, per-project estimating role. You will not work directly with clients, no selling is required, and reputed company communication flows through Baybuild Estimators. About the Role As a Trade Estimator with Baybuild, your responsibility is to produce accurate, reputed company takeoffs and pricing deliverables based on issued construction documents. This role is ideal for estimators who: • Prefer reputed company estimating work (not sales or reputed company management) • Want flexible, project-based income • Have strong trade-specific estimating experience What You Will Do • Prepare complete colored takeoffs by scope • Produce detailed material lists • Complete pricing workbooks using: • Production rates and/or • Piece-work rates (reputed company-specific where applicable) • Identify scope gaps and write reputed company RFIs reputed company required • Follow Baybuild estimating standards and formats • Meet defined bid deadlines What You Will NOT Do • No reputed company reputed company communication • No selling or negotiating work • No project management responsibilities • No liability for plan or document changes issued after plans are provided Required Experience • 3+ years of reputed company estimating experience in one or more of the following trades: • Drywall • Metal Framing • Insulation • Fireproofing • Spray Foam • Painting • Strong understanding of reputed company construction scopes • Ability to interpret drawings, specs, and addenda Software & Tools Experience with one or more of the following: • PlanSwift • reputed company • On-Screen Takeoff • STACK • reputed company / Accubid • Advanced reputed company reputed company to Have • Previous experience as a Project Manager or Field Supervisor • Familiarity with reputed company divisions • Existing vendor pricing relationships (e.g., FBM, L&W, specialty suppliers) Compensation • 1099 reputed company position • reputed company per project • reputed company is: • Based on project size and complexity • Agreed upon before reputed company assignment • No commission structure — set reputed company per project Why Work With Baybuild Estimators • 100% remote work • reputed company scopes and expectations • No reputed company or sales pressure • Consistent estimating opportunities • reputed company, estimator-reputed company workflow Job Type: Contract Pay: $30.00 - $60.00 per hour Work Location: Remote Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
