Freelance / Fractional COO (Operations & Strategy Consultant)

About Us: We are a growing business seeking a transactional (freelance) Chief Operating Officer (COO) to help bring structure, clarity, and measurable growth to our operations. Our team is fast-moving and entrepreneurial, and we’re looking for someone who can step in part-time to help us organize, plan, and execute our goals efficiently. Role Overview: This is not a full-time position — it’s a flexible, project-based or hourly role. The right candidate will work directly with ownership to: Review and organize our Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) (or recommend outsourcing options if needed) Help align marketing, staffing, and operational goals Attend weekly meetings with leadership to track progress and priorities Join weekly team meetings to ensure alignment and accountability Conduct a monthly strategy or review session Provide insight into systems or strategies that improve efficiency and profitability Ideal Candidate: Proven experience as a COO, Operations Director, or Business Consultant (especially in small to mid-size companies or startups) Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to implement systems and structure for scaling Comfortable working on an hourly or per-task basis Experience in marketing operations, staff management, or SOP development is a plus Based in the U.S. (NYC-based or familiar with NYC operations preferred, but remote candidates welcome) Apply tot his job Apply tot his job Apply tot his job Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
