Bilingual Operations & Logistics Assistant (Remote)

About Us: We are a fast-growing supplier of organic fruit and vegetable ingredients. We are looking for a highly responsible and detail-oriented Operations Assistant to join our remote team. You will work directly with our Lead Supply Chain Specialist to ensure our daily order fulfillment runs smoothly. The Role: We believe that skills can be taught, but a sense of responsibility cannot. You will start by coordinating daily orders between our customers and warehouses, and as you grow, you will have the opportunity to take on broader operational tasks. Key Responsibilities (What you will do daily): • Coordinate Fulfillment: Process daily sales orders and coordinate with our warehouses to ensure items are prepped for shipping. • Customer & Warehouse Liaison: Act as the bridge between our clients and warehouses. Send tracking numbers, invoices, and keep customers updated. • Arrange Outbound Shipping: Schedule LTL/FTL trucks and book UPS/FedEx pickups. • Administrative Support: Enter inventory data into our ERP system (Emerge), update shipping logs, and assist with document preparation (e.g., translating packing lists from Chinese to English). • Adapt & Grow: Gradually learn other operational and administrative tasks to support the team as needed. Requirements (What we are looking for): • Highly Responsible (Most Important): You take ownership of your tasks. If an issue arises, you follow up on details until the problem is resolved. • Language: Must be fluent in Mandarin and English. (You will speak Mandarin with our Lead and English with warehouses/customers). • Time Zone & Availability: Must work on Pacific Standard Time (PST). We offer a highly flexible schedule, but we require you to be generally available during standard morning and mid-day business hours. This ensures you can smoothly collaborate with our Lead and communicate with external warehouses and trucking companies when they are most active. • Experience: Basic knowledge of logistics, administrative support, or order processing is a plus, but not required. We are happy to teach someone who is reliable and eager to learn.
