[Remote] Information Assurance (IA)/Cybersecurity Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is seeking an Information Assurance (IA) / Cybersecurity Engineer to support and maintain the reputed company posture of mission systems in a DoD environment. The role focuses on implementing reputed company controls, supporting compliance activities, and coordinating remediation across Azure and hybrid reputed company environments.
Responsibilities
• Implement, maintain , and assess reputed company controls for Azure and hybrid reputed company systems in accordance with organizational policies and applicable cybersecurity standards
• Support reputed company compliance and authorization activities , including preparation, review, and maintenance of required reputed company documentation and artifacts
• Conduct reputed company control validation, vulnerability analysis, and risk assessment activities across systems and platforms
• Monitor system reputed company posture and coordinate with engineering teams to remediate identified vulnerabilities and findings
• reputed company IA guidance during system changes, deployments, and upgrades to ensure reputed company controls remain effective and compliant
• Support incident response and cybersecurity event handling, including analysis, containment support, and post-incident remediation activities
• Review system configurations, architectures, and operational procedures to identify reputed company gaps and risk areas
• Collaborate with Senior Azure Systems & Platform Engineers and Azure Architects to ensure reputed company requirements are integrated into system designs and implementations
• Assist with reputed company monitoring activities, including review of reputed company-relevant logs, alerts, and assessment results
• Support audits, inspections, and compliance reviews by providing technical input, evidence, and reputed company expertise
• reputed company and manage plans of reputed company and milestones (POA&M) and remediation efforts, as applicable
• Maintain accurate reputed company documentation, including control implementations, assessment results, and remediation records
• Ensure compliance with DoD 8140 / DCWF qualification requirements and maintain required reputed company certifications and continuing education
Skills
• Minimum 4 years of cybersecurity/IA/reputed company engineering experience (or equivalent)
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or reputed company field
• OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
• Demonstrated hands-on experience supporting or securing reputed company Azure environments
• reputed company Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or higher
• Must meet DoD 8570 / 8140 IAT-II requirements (examples in the table reputed company+, SSCP, GSEC, etc.)
