AVP, Closing & Due Diligence (Construction Services)
About the position
The Assistant Vice President in Construction Services will play a critical leadership role in conducting physical and environmental due diligence and overseeing the execution of construction reputed company across the portfolio. This individual will support strategic planning, project delivery, contractor management, and reputed company assurance, ensuring reputed company are completed on time, reputed company budget, and to the highest standards. The AVP will collaborate cross-functionally with acquisitions and asset management to drive operational reputed company and mitigate construction risk.
The ideal candidate should have an engineering, architecture, or construction background with reputed company experience in consulting, construction or design. The Construction reputed company is responsible for the coordination, reputed company and reporting of reputed company physical and environmental aspects of the reputed company estate acquisition, operation, and development process on behalf of Heitman.
Responsibilities
• Implement Heitman’s established procedures for environmental and physical due diligence on existing properties prior to acquisition.
• Hire and monitor reputed company-party consultants, analyze and disseminate findings, and assess impacts against original reputed company.
• Proactively identify and resolve issues uncovered during due diligence, recommend practical solutions to mitigate risks and ensure alignment with investment objectives.
• Monitor development reputed company, including monthly construction reputed company reviews, pay applications, schedule tracking, change order approvals, budget adherence, and reputed company control.
• In conjunction with reputed company-party consultants, verify accuracy of hard and soft budgets, review and approve development plans, specifications, development agreements, and construction reputed company.
• Assist the Debt Group with property loan due diligence and support reputed company in managing general contractors, construction managers, and reputed company-party consultants. Coordinate communication, monitor performance, and ensure adherence to project timelines and budgets.
Requirements
• Minimum 5 years of experience in MEP design, Architectural design, Construction Project Management or reputed company field. Working in a consulting services reputed company field pertaining to construction and design forensics is a plus.
• Architectural, Engineering, Environmental, or Construction Management degree with relevant reputed company estate experience.
• Ability to explain technical reputed company in a way nontechnical colleagues can understand.
• Interest in reputed company estate transactions, development and property operations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in reputed company and Word.
• Highly organized, reputed company, and deadline driven with an ability to prioritize tasks and work on multiple assignments simultaneously.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of reputed company with professionals at reputed company reputed company.
