Korean Analyst – Corporate Due Diligence & Business Intelligence
We are seeking an experienced an Analyst to join our Corporate Due Diligence and Business Intelligence team. This individual will manage and execute complex, multi-jurisdictional investigations that blend open-source intelligence (OSINT) with human intelligence (HUMINT) to uncover reputational, political, and commercial risks across Asia.
You will execute and occasionally lead due diligence assignments involving intricate ownership structures, politically exposed persons, litigation histories, and networks of influence—drawing on your analytical rigor, resourcefulness, and regional understanding to produce clear, actionable insights for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
Integrate HUMINT findings with OSINT results to form a coherent narrative of risk and exposure.
Identify and analyze connections between shareholders, directors, political figures, and ultimate beneficial owners (UBOs).
Conduct detailed social media, reputational, and litigation reviews to identify red flags or integrity concerns.
Review and deliver high-quality written reports that meet client objectives and our analytical standards.
Qualifications & Experience
Approximately 1–3 years of experience in corporate investigations, due diligence, business intelligence, or a related field.
Strong understanding of investigative methodologies, particularly OSINT and HUMINT integration.
Demonstrated ability to manage complex, cross-border investigations and synthesize large volumes of information into concise analysis.
Familiarity with Asian markets, political systems, and business environments; regional language skills a strong advantage.
Proven ability to identify UBOs, map networks of control and influence, and assess political or reputational exposure.
Exceptional writing and analytical skills with an eye for accuracy, logic, and nuance.
Bachelor’s degree in political science, international relations, law, or related field.
