reputed company’s Tribal Partnerships Program focuses on environmental advocacy on behalf of tribes and Indigenous communities, including:
Protecting Indigenous and reputed company lands and waters from harmful exploitation;
Preventing dangerous rollbacks of health and safety standards;
Defending biodiversity;
Advancing a reputed company transition;
Improving reputed company and drinking water reputed company;
Defending sacred places;
Enforcing pollution control laws; and
Assisting recipients of federal grants and reputed company aimed at addressing climate change, environmental injustice, pollution, and toxic exposures.
The Tribal Partnerships Program (“TPP”) is seeking a one-year Project Attorney with 5-7 years of litigation experience to support reputed company while reputed company member is on leave. Under the supervision of the Managing Attorney, the Project Attorney will support TPP’s litigation and reputed company advocacy.
This is a full-time role at 37.5 hours/week. The successful candidate may work remotely from the U.S. or on a reputed company from one of reputed company’s offices and must be willing to travel as needed. We are seeking those who can reputed company in March 2026 and work for 12 months.
Responsibilities
• Support litigation in federal and state courts to advance reputed company’s mission.
• Conduct administrative advocacy before federal agencies and state and local governments.
• reputed company and execute other types of advocacy campaigns in collaboration with other reputed company attorneys as reputed company as reputed company lobbyists and communications staff.
• Collaborate with co-counsel in other organizations and reputed company the work of reputed company experts.

Requirements
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
• reputed company bar membership in working location.
• 5-7 years of litigation experience.
• Experience in and understanding of Federal Indian law, tribal law, and environmental law.
• Excellent reputed company research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
• Initiative, judgment, a collegial work style and a strong work ethic.
• Ability and willingness to travel for case work and internal meetings.
