Senior Product Manager, Mobile Monetization

About the position Mobile App is a key area of focus and growth for PubMatic. We are seeking a strategic and data-driven Sr. Product Manager to lead the development of our Mobile Monetization product portfolio. This role will define the product strategy, roadmap, and execution plan for monetization products across PubMatic’s ecosystem of mobile app publishers. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in AdTech, specifically programmatic advertising in Mobile app space, and a proven track record of managing high-scale, data-intensive products. This role requires a strong balance of strategic thinking, technical acumen, customer engagement, and leadership skills. Responsibilities • Product Strategy & Roadmap: Own strategy and roadmap for Mobile Monetization, including driving the roadmap of ML products designed to drive better monetization on mobile app environment. • AI/ML: Identify and implement AI/ML-driven solutions to enhance mobile app bid stream data and optimize monetization opportunities. • Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with engineering, data science, sales, and marketing teams to align product development with market needs and company objectives. • Customer Discovery & Engagement: Spend significant portion of their time engaging with customers, stakeholders, and industry experts to gather insights, identify pain points, and shape product direction. This role is also expected to build relationships with key industry peers in mobile app monetization space. • Execution & Delivery: Oversee the execution of product roadmap initiatives, ensuring efficient and scalable product development with minimal hands-on involvement in day-to-day operations. • Performance & Growth: Define and track KPIs to measure the success of product initiatives, using data-driven insights to refine strategy and execution. • Travel: This position requires some domestic and international travel as needed. Requirements • 5 years + of Product Management experience in the AdTech and Mobile App monetization space, with a strong preference for programmatic advertising expertise. • B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or Engineering preferred, as this role requires strong technical understanding. • Proven experience with real-time data processing, AI/ML applications in AdTech, and large-scale bid stream signal management. • Deep understanding of RTB (Real-Time Bidding), DSPs, SSPs, and data enrichment methodologies. • Strong ability to identify new monetization opportunities by bridging cross-functional insights and leveraging engineering capabilities. • Self-starter with strong leadership, judgment, planning, and decision-making skills. • Exceptional communication skills, with experience in customer-facing engagements and discovery conversations. • Ability to juggle multiple strategic priorities simultaneously. Nice-to-haves • Prior work in mobile DSP or mobile performance advertising is a big plus.
