**Key Responsibilities**
As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:
* Providing exceptional customer service in a positive and approachable manner, ensuring that every customer leaves our store feeling valued and satisfied.
* Maintaining a clean, well-stocked store environment, including unloading merchandise from delivery trucks, organizing merchandise, and transporting merchandise from the stockroom to the sales floor.
* Independently stocking shelves and recovering merchandise in the store, ensuring that products are easily accessible and visible to customers.
* Accurately handling customer funds and processing transactions using our point-of-sale (POS) system, maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
* Remaining constantly aware of customer activity to ensure a safe and secure shopping environment, preventing shoplifting and other forms of theft.
* Performing all other duties as assigned to maintain an effective and profitable store operation, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and visual merchandising.
**Position Requirements**
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
* A high school diploma or equivalent, with the ability to follow directives and interpret retail operational documents as assigned.
* Previous experience working in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environments, with a strong understanding of customer service principles and practices.
* The ability to regularly lift up to 40lbs (and occasionally, up to 55lbs) from floor level to above shoulder height, with the physical stamina to meet the demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
* A flexible, full-time schedule to include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, with the ability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings.
