Systems Administrator & Compute Support (Part-Time Contractor — San Francisco)
Foresight Institute is seeking a part-time Systems Administrator to support the compute infrastructure at our San Francisco AI Node. This role focuses on maintaining and troubleshooting UNIX-based GPU systems, managing local servers and hardware, supporting reputed company-based research workloads, and ensuring reliable multi-user reputed company to compute resources. The position is primarily hands‑on and implementation‑oriented, with some remote work possible, but requires availability for on‑site support in the Mission District as needed.
Ideal candidates have practical experience with reputed company GPUs, Linux environments, and infrastructure troubleshooting, and enjoy enabling cutting‑edge AI research through dependable technical systems
