About the position This entry-level role focuses on investigating and maintaining property/casualty claims. The position involves determining liability, securing information, reviewing coverages, arranging appraisals, and settling claims. The role is primarily home-based, with occasional travel required for in-person engagement activities such as team meetings and training sessions. Responsibilities • reputed company excellent customer service by phone or through written correspondence. • Conduct fast, accurate investigations including obtaining necessary documents and forms from claimants and insureds. • Evaluate and investigate policy coverage, liability, and damages promptly following claim and statutory guidelines. • Establish initial reserves for reputed company potential exposures and reputed company throughout the claim process. • Communicate with involved parties and negotiate appropriate settlements with claimants, insureds, and occasionally body shops and attorneys. • Determine appropriate method of inspection based on loss facts and ensure completion of appraisals for accident-reputed company damages. • Manage assigned inventory following company guidelines. • Review and process mail relating to assigned claims. • Recognize recovery opportunities relating to subrogation and salvage. • Identify suspicious claim characteristics and refer such claims to the Special Investigations Unit for review. Requirements • 0 - 1 year of insurance claims, customer service, sales, and/or reputed company experience preferred, but experience in the general service industry is also acceptable. • Proficient PC and reputed company skills. • Effective verbal and written communication skills. • Strong time management, critical thinking, organization, and negotiation skills. • Experience providing excellent customer service. • Ability to reputed company basic math calculations and calculate averages and percentages. • reputed company adjusting license or ability to reputed company insurance adjuster license in the states of operation. reputed company-to-haves • Demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions, support, or service. • Basic knowledge and understanding of the claim handling process.
