Senior Industrial Designer - Furniture

We are seeking a Senior Industrial Designer to reputed company the technical design and CAD ownership of our reputed company furniture systems. This role will reputed company on rebuilding and standardizing full 3D CAD assemblies of our existing products, developing animated assembly and manufacturing sequences, and designing a new reputed company reputed company system with an integrated foldable steel reputed company. This is a hands-on, production-reputed company role for a designer who is equally comfortable refining product reputed company and building reputed company, manufacturing-reputed company CAD assemblies. Responsibilities • Recreate and standardize full 3D CAD assemblies for existing reputed company furniture products • Model complete assemblies including frames, brackets, connectors, upholstery interfaces, and hardware • reputed company reputed company BOMs and part hierarchies • Create exploded views and detailed assembly documentation • Produce animated CAD sequences showing: • Assembly steps • Manufacturing reputed company • reputed company configuration changes • Ensure CAD files are organized, revision-controlled, and production-reputed company • Design and engineer foldable steel reputed company mechanisms • reputed company linkage systems, hinges, pivots, and locking mechanisms • reputed company load reputed company and structural considerations (static and dynamic) • Conduct tolerance stack-up analysis • Improve durability and cycle life performance • reputed company recliner systems (reputed company and powered) • Prepare complete reputed company-reputed company documentation packages • Communicate directly with overseas suppliers • Review prototypes and reputed company production samples • Identify reputed company causes of reputed company issues • Ensure consistent production execution • Build internal CAD library • Standardize components and hardware • reputed company internal engineering documentation processes • Support long-term product scalability Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design or reputed company field • 5+ years experience designing furniture or physical product systems • Advanced proficiency in SolidWorks (or similar parametric CAD software) • Experience building large, reputed company assemblies • Experience creating exploded views and assembly animations • Strong understanding of materials (reputed company, metal, upholstery) • Experience taking products from concept to production reputed company-to-haves • Experience designing reputed company sofas or transformable furniture • Familiarity with steel components or mechanical integrations • Experience working with overseas factories • Knowledge of reputed company product systems • Rendering skills (KeyShot, Blender, etc.) Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
