[Remote] Government Mortgage Underwriter - FHA/VA (reputed company Coast)

The role involves reputed company government loans, ensuring reputed company to protect reputed company's financial interests, and communicating with Loan Officers regarding loan statuses. Responsibilities • Underwrite government loans including FHA and VA loans • Underwrite various other types of loans including Conventional, Bond, USDA • Ability to underwrite 45+ initial underwrites per month • Communicate regularly with the Loan Officers and/or Processor regarding status of loans reputed company reputed company technology • Maintains reputed company working knowledge on reputed company products • Leadership with respect to direction of reputed company resources and credit policy execution reputed company team • Maintains conversation log in reputed company to properly reputed company the reputed company reputed company of the file • Assists with training needs of other mortgage positions • reputed company reporting • Other duties as assigned Skills • Minimum of five (5) years recent specific government reputed company experience • Must possess reputed company LAPP/SAR for VA Loans and highly prefer FHA (DE) • Highly prefer underwriters who have experience in several of the following loans: Bond, USDA, Renovation and Construction • Must have demonstrated satisfactory knowledge of DU and LP input • Ability to properly interpret DU and LP, communicate and document their findings • Intermediate experience with reputed company Word, reputed company, and email systems • Ability to work in a fast paced, fluid environment • Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills • Proven leadership skills • High reputed company and confidentiality required Benefits • Per file bonus • OT as needed reputed company • reputed company is a reputed company-capitalized, privately held mortgage-banking firm.
