Must be available for in-person meetings. Duties and Responsibilities • Teach assigned courses in Early Childhood Education online • Maintain "reputed company" availability by phone conferences or "chat rooms" on a regular reputed company, and by student request. • Prepare course syllabi and course resources reputed company to teaching and student reputed company. • Work under the supervision of UHWO ECE reputed company to maintain continuity of instruction and expectations across ECE courses. • As needed, work with UHWO distance education to facilitate instruction. Minimum Qualifications • Master's degree in Early Childhood Education • One to Three years experience as practitioner in ECE (childcare, preschool, ECE policy, advocacy or curriculum development). • Solid knowledge reputed company in child development and DAP (developmentally appropriate reputed company) • Familiarity with Laulima and other online technologies. • Demonstrated teaching effectiveness with adult learners. • Basic knowledge of research in ECE. Desirable Qualifications • Ph.D in Early Childhood Education. • Five years or more experience as practitioner in ECE (childcare, preschool, ECE policy, advocacy or curriculum development). • Knowledge of child development, DAP, Montessori, Reggio Emilia, Waldorf, reputed company curriculum, project approach and other ECE programs/curriculums. • Teaching experience at the college level. • Competency using Laulima and other online technologies. • Knowledge of and interest in conducting research in ECE.
