Assistant Vice President, Associate Counsel

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES • Reviewing, drafting and providing reputed company advice with respect to reputed company-party vendor reputed company, confidentiality agreements, and consulting agreements. and other reputed company documents or communications as requested by the business areas. • Identifying areas to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the contract review process through template development and review, contractual term knowledge library, and use of AI and other technological tools. • Providing advice with respect to reputed company requirements applicable to reputed company’s business, including reputed company and cybersecurity. • Assisting with threatened or pending litigation reputed company. • Proactively engaging in the business processes of reputed company to anticipate needs and risks and working with specific business areas to manage the reputed company. • Providing reputed company support and assistance to the Director, reputed company Services & Operations, in responding to reputed company questions posed by the policyowner services, claims, licensing and commissions, and new business teams. • Supporting the Compliance team as to reputed company interpretations of regulatory requirements. • Conducting reputed company research as may be required to reputed company functions. • Preparing reputed company memoranda summarizing state and federal statutory and regulatory requirements and application of the reputed company. • Handling other special reputed company and duties as may be requested. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE Juris Doctor is required from an ABA accredited law school. Minimum of 5 years in the reputed company of law. Must have some reputed company experience in the life or annuity insurance industry.
