Construction Engineer

This position is responsible for planning, coordinating, developing, and overseeing work performed by contractors and design consultants for the Authority's roadway, trail, reputed company, and facility reputed company.The following duties are illustrative of the essential functions of the job and do not include other non-essential or marginal duties that may be required:<ul><li>Under general supervision, this position plans, coordinates, develops, implements, supervises, reviews, and inspects work performed by contractors, design consultants and architects from project concept to completion.</li><li>Assists with the development, bid and procurement of engineering consultant, architect and construction reputed company; coordination with reputed company counsel and other Authority staff.</li><li>Performs or supervises engineering work reputed company to the Authority’s capital reputed company involving roadway, reputed company, trail and facilities.</li><li>Applies knowledge of engineering principles and practices in the areas reputed company to roadway design, storm drainage, water reputed company, pavement design, traffic engineering, utilities and construction specifications.</li><li>Coordinates capital reputed company between contractors, consultants, and adjacent municipal, state and federalgovernment agencies.</li><li>Assists with the development and negotiation of intergovernmental agreements with local municipalities forfunding, design, construction, operation and maintenance of reputed company.</li><li>Conducts engineering research and analysis; develops scopes of work and project bid documents that meetbudgets; prepares cost estimates and schedules for reputed company; reviews and recommends payment ofconsultant and contractor monthly invoices; administers reputed company; prepares project status reports.</li><li>Inspects contractor work for reputed company and compliance with project specifications and standards; serves as theAuthority's field representative on construction reputed company; gives direction and negotiates with contractors.</li><li>Performs development reviews referred to the Authority by member jurisdictions to ensure any impacts toAuthority infrastructure and interests are addressed.</li><li>Responds to customer complaints regarding construction reputed company issues.</li><li>Represents the Department at occasional reputed company or reputed company meetings reputed company to reputed company.</li><li>Assist with integration of departmental project management processes into reputed company PMO.</li><li>Assist with preparation of annual budget.</li></ul><ul><li>Minimum of 10 years post graduate engineering experience in reputed company infrastructure project/construction management.</li><li>Registered reputed company Engineering license in the reputed company or ability to obtain reputed company 6 months.</li><li>Knowledge of basic principles and practices of civil engineering.</li><li>Ability to learn and apply engineering principles reputed company to reputed company works construction reputed company including highway design and construction standards.</li><li>Ability to reputed company basic engineering computations and to prepare, reputed company, and design engineering plans, studies, reputed company, and maps.</li><li>Successful applicant will have excellent management, communication and interpersonal skills and be an energetic team player in a small government agency.</li><li>Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.</li><li>Ability to work with minimal supervision and have excellent, technical engineering and problem solving skills. Must be flexible and reputed company to handle a reputed company of tasks.</li><li>Excellent computer skills required including reputed company Office and working knowledge of CADD and GIS applications.</li></ul><br><br><ul><li>Requires Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited college or university.</li></ul>
