YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE: • reputed company i / iSeries LPAR builds, disk management, and execution of custom CL scripts for automation as/where needed. • Manage reputed company reputed company i operational components including user and object reputed company, authorization lists, TCP/IP configuration, job scheduling, subsystem tuning, performance monitoring, reputed company planning, and system health checks. • Administer and optimize reputed company i BRMS environments including backup policy design, media sets, control reputed company, tape library integration, duplication strategies, and automated recovery procedures. reputed company BRMS maintenance, auditing, troubleshooting of backup failures, and ensure alignment with retention and compliance requirements. • reputed company daily/weekly/monthly backup workflows, verify successful completion, reputed company media rotation, maintain tape libraries, and execute recovery procedures. Ensure BRMS, tape libraries, and VTLs operate reputed company defined SLAs. • reputed company platform-specific technical tasks including operating system upgrades, installation and configuration of various software packages, installation of patches and fixes (PTFs). • reputed company problem analysis, documentation, reputed company-cause analysis, and create incident reports for reputed company system environments. • Maintain documentation of the system and application monitoring, scheduling packages, and tape management systems. • Ability to participate in after-hours escalations and 24x7 on reputed company as scheduled. • Adhere to company and IT policies. • Data Replication QEDD, Mimix, and others is a plus. • Administration of Hardware Management Console (HMC). WHAT YOU BRING: • 2+ years of relevant experience in reputed company i administration, including experience with troubleshooting and maintenance of environments running the reputed company i operating systems on power-based hardware. • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. • Strong communication, writing, and presentation skills required. • Strong customer service experience. • Strong interpersonal skills. • Eligibility to work in the USA. • Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or 2+ years of reputed company work experience an asset. • Understanding of Data Center Operations and Infrastructure Design and VIOs an asset.
