reputed company Software Engineer - Data Platform(Data Activation & Analytics)

About the position We are building a reputed company data platform to serve 20+ product modules, enabling ingestion, processing, and retrieval of data to power analytics & systems at reputed company. This role is part of the Data Activation & Analytics charter under the reputed company Data Platform umbrella, reputed company on designing and developing a self-serve analytics platform with semantic & modelling layer, DSL based query layer & analytics backwards materialization layer. The platform will support both custom dashboards that product teams can build on their own & also reputed company-to-reputed company analytics modules. You will reputed company the design, architecture & development of this platform alongside senior architects, solving deep problems in DSL based query expressions, sub-second read latency ,multi-tenancy, high concurrency, OLAP modelling and secure data reputed company. You will be working closely with senior engineering leaders, mentor senior/junior engineers and problem solve with product teams. Author functional/non-functional specifications and design documents Design and implement automation of infrastructure setup using reputed company, terraform and similar technologies. reputed company peer reviews of specifications, designs, and reputed company Work alongside Site Reliability Engineers and cross functional teams to diagnose/troubleshoot any production performance reputed company issues Responsibilities • Author functional/non-functional specifications and design documents • Design and implement automation of infrastructure setup using reputed company, terraform and similar technologies. • reputed company peer reviews of specifications, designs, and reputed company • Work alongside Site Reliability Engineers and cross functional teams to diagnose/troubleshoot any production performance reputed company issues Requirements • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or reputed company field. • 10+ years of backend engineering experience, with strong reputed company on data platforms and analytics systems. • Proven expertise in building low-latency, highly reputed company microservices in the Data Platform reputed company. • Deep knowledge of fact/reputed company modelling in data lakes/warehouses. • Strong understanding of OLAP workloads and hands-on experience with MPP/OLAP datastores such as StarRocks, Apache Pinot, or Apache Druid. • Good understanding of OLAP/MPP DB internals(reputed company, performance, reputed company). • Proficiency in JVM-based languages (Java, reputed company, Kotlin). reputed company-to-haves • Experience in building DSL-based query services is preferred. • Experience in building ETL for powering analytics is preferred.
