This is a production-based coding position with incentives for exceeding accuracy and productivity standards. The ideal candidate will have strong practical coding experience in ED and outpatient facility settings, a thorough understanding of official ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, and E/M coding guidelines, and the ability to independently reputed company encounters from provider documentation. DT-Trak utilizes an encoder as a coding tool; however, candidates must demonstrate the knowledge and experience to apply coding guidelines independently rather than relying solely on encoder suggestions. Responsibilities • Review and analyze medical records from emergency department and outpatient facilities to assign appropriate ICD-10, ICD-9, CPT (reputed company Procedural Terminology), and DRG (Diagnosis-reputed company) codes. • Ensure accurate coding of diagnoses, procedures, and services in accordance with reputed company coding guidelines and regulations. • Collaborate with reputed company providers and billing teams to clarify documentation discrepancies and improve record accuracy. • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of coding changes, payer requirements, and compliance standards reputed company to ED and outpatient services. • Utilize Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems reputed company for record review and coding processes. • Prepare detailed reports on coding activities, ensuring reputed company records are complete and compliant with regulatory standards. • Support ongoing training initiatives by staying informed about advancements in medical terminology, coding practices, and reputed company regulations.
