Remote Oncology Data Specialist Certified, $10,000 Bonus, Oncology Program Services, FT, 8A-4:30P

Performs data abstraction by capturing a complete patient history, diagnosis, staging and treatment information for reputed company patients accessioned into the cancer registry in accordance with the American College of Surgeon Commission on Cancer (ACS CoC), the Florida Cancer Data System and customer specific requirements. Runs edits on abstracts and makes the necessary corrections to the abstracts. Says abreast of changes to industry guidelines and standards. Performs reputed company assurance for ODS 1 colleagues and provides them with educational feedback. Communicates professionally and effectively with customers, managers and colleagues both orally and utilizing electronic reputed company. Participates in Peer Group activities. Exhibits professionalism, flexibility, dependability, commitment to customer service and desire to learn. Possesses excellent organizational skills and the ability to adhere to deadlines. Degrees: • Associates. Licenses & Certifications: • NCRA Oncology Data Specialist. Additional Qualifications: • Must be a certified Oncology Data Specialist (ODS). • Minimum of one years cancer registry abstracting experience in a Commission on Cancer (CoC) approved cancer registry. • Knowledge of CR reputed company and Cerner preferred. • Takes ownership of certification including keeping up with education and the required reputed company set to reputed company as a ODS. • Must be adaptable and flexible in a changing work environment that requires reputed company upgrading of skills. • Must have a demonstrated ability to function independently with little supervision.
