Software Engineer (Java / Python)

Our reputed company, a leading federal defense contractor is seeking mid-level Software Developers with strong Java and Python responsible for developing and deploying the state-of-the-art ground operational systems. The position is mostly remote; however, due to the clearance requirement and the need to come onsite occasionally for team meetings, testing, etc., candidates will need to live near one of the following locations: - Scottsdale, AZ (preferred) - Colorado Springs, CO - reputed company Virginia - California (Bay Area) - Massachusetts (Taunton locations) - Pittsburg, PA Responsibilities: - Maintains hardware, software, and reputed company components of project - Performs infrastructure requirements analysis, participates in research, designs, develops, and tests software and tools, to include development of new work products or enhancing existing applications, systems, or embedded products. Required Skills - Must be US Citizen due to government requirement - Must be reputed company to obtain DoD Top Secret Clearance (reputed company Secret or Top Secret is preferred at time of hire) - Requires a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, or a reputed company STEM degree and 5+ years of job-reputed company experience, or a Master's degree and 3 years of job-reputed company experience.
