Remote SVP of Product Design

In this crucial role, you will be responsible for shaping the design vision and strategy for a cutting-edge consumer healthcare platform. You will lead a diverse team to achieve world-class design standards while fostering a collaborative environment between design, product, marketing, and engineering teams. This position plays a key role in scaling the design efforts as you attract top-tier talent and ensure exceptional user experiences. Your leadership will greatly impact how consumers access affordable healthcare solutions and streamline their journeys. Responsibilities • Manage and inspire design managers, product designers, visual designers, researchers, and content strategists. • Create a culture of inspiration, insight, and authority on design and user experience. • Influence product strategy and deliver high-quality design work across various platforms. • Partner with product, engineering, and analytics teams to accelerate product development. • Champion fast iteration, deep user research, and broad experimentation. • Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement and scalability. • Collaborate with product teams to define a long-term product strategy. Requirements • 15+ years of experience designing consumer products in notable design-focused companies. • Proven ability to recruit, hire, and retain multi-disciplinary design teams. • Experience managing a large UX team (30+ individuals) across several disciplines. • Ability to balance process with creativity and promote early prototyping. • Passionate about improving team efficiency and workflow. • Hands-on experience with design work and a willingness to engage in practical tasks. • Strong team player with a focused approach and low ego.
