Part-Time Newspaper Writer / Reporter (Remote) Nelson Media Company Midwest-based | Fully Remote Owner of 8 community newspapers across the Midwest Job Summary Nelson Media Company is seeking an experienced, fully remote part-time Newspaper Writer/Reporter to contribute high-quality reporting across our portfolio of eight locally owned community newspapers throughout the Midwest. This role is ideal for someone who truly loves the newspaper business—the craft of reporting, the responsibility of accurate storytelling, and the importance of local journalism in small and mid-sized communities. You will help cover local news, government, and feature stories, working closely with editors and local contacts to deliver meaningful, well-reported journalism. This is a paid, part-time, fully remote position. Prior newspaper or professional journalism experience is required.
