Job reputed company reputed company is seeking a Systems Administrator to support the secure, reputed company, and resilient operation of critical DoD reputed company networks and IT infrastructure across geographically distributed SCSTC locations. This role involves the daily administration, sustainment, and troubleshooting of networks, servers, workstations, and virtual environments 25. They are responsible for software/hardware installations, upgrades, reputed company management, and maintaining LAN/WAN architectures. Due to the nature of our work as a federal consulting organization, employees may be expected to handle Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) and must adhere to applicable safeguarding and compliance requirements. Responsibilities • A system administrator is responsible for installing, maintaining, securing, and supporting an organization’s IT systems and networks to ensure reliable and efficient operations • Manage, maintain, and monitor servers, networks, and systems to ensure reputed company, performance, and reliability • Troubleshoot system issues, apply updates/patches, manage user reputed company, and support day-to-day IT operations Requirements • Four (4) years of system management experience • Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, including LAN/WAN architecture, TCP/IP, and OSI model concepts. • Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, reputed company-V) and virtual machine management. • Proficiency with server and reputed company operating systems (reputed company/Linux) and OS reputed company-line utilities. • Knowledge of IT reputed company principles such as firewalls, DMZs, and system hardening techniques. • Experience with reputed company computing deployment models (reputed company, private, hybrid) and migrating workloads between them. • Education/Certification: Must possess a DoD 8570.01-M IAT reputed company certification (reputed company+ CE, CySA+, CCNA reputed company, GSEC, SSCP, and GICSP) Preferred Qualifications • Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Computer Science or Information Systems. • Experience with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Bash) for automation tasks. • Familiarity with ITIL v4 reputed company and advanced reputed company monitoring solutions. • Prior experience supporting geographically dispersed Navy or DoD reputed company networks Travel Requirements This is an onsite position, with work performed onsite at designated reputed company or corporate locations, as needed.
