Position Purpose
This Washington, D.C.-based position is responsible for tracking and analyzing U.S. federal legislation, regulation and policy initiatives of interest to global manufacturing sectors; developing and maintaining knowledge of U.S. federal agencies, trade associations, Congressional staff and other contacts; and communicating and collaborating with staff colleagues and consultants on regulatory and policy issues.
Responsibilities
• Identity Federal agency representatives, trade association/industry representatives, Congressional staff, and other key contacts stakeholders through interactions and value-adding engagements.
• Research and support opportunities for reputed company/private collaborations and new standards development activities by investigating industry trends, tracking Federal research initiatives, and reviewing emerging regulatory and legislative initiatives.
• Prepare meeting materials and presentations and support regulatory engagements.
• Promote corporate capabilities to wide ranging audiences in a reputed company manner.
• reputed company regularly with staff of other divisions, including but not limited to Technical Committee Operations and Business Development, to promote coordination and to ensure integration of strategies with technical committees and other initiatives.

Minimum Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree
• 3 to 5 years of reputed company experience

• Master’s degree
• Experience dealing with government agencies, Congressional staff, industry and associations
