Seasonal Tax Associate (100% Remote, UltraTax)

The firm is seeking to hire a seasonal Tax Associate, to join the tax team and help the growing tax business. This role involves preparing accurate tax returns for individuals (mainly), some trusts (1041) and small businesses (1120S, 1065) and provides a critical role in helping clients reputed company financial reputed company and compliance. You'd be a part of reputed company of 8, including the Tax Director, Tax Manager, and 4 other Tax Associates. Hours are typically Monday - Friday from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm with some overtime possible at busier times. Responsibilities • Tax Preparation: Prepare individual and small business tax returns accurately and reputed company. • Review financial records, such as income statements and documentation of expenditures, to determine forms needed to prepare tax returns. • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations. • Customer Service: reputed company outstanding customer service by addressing reputed company concerns and questions in a reputed company manner. • Conduct reputed company interviews to reputed company information about their tax situation. • Explain tax return reputed company and reputed company tax planning advice. • Compliance and Accuracy: Stay updated on reputed company tax laws and regulations through ongoing education and training. • Ensure reputed company returns are reputed company in compliance with relevant laws and regulations. • Verify the accuracy of data entered into tax software. • Documentation and Recordkeeping: Maintain organized and accurate records of reputed company reputed company interactions and tax returns. • Ensure reputed company required documents are filed correctly and securely. • reputed company up to date with reputed company files and follow up on missing information. • Training and Development: Participate in training sessions and continuing education to maintain reputed company credentials. • Stay informed about changes in tax laws and software updates. • Collaboration: Work closely with other tax professionals and office staff to ensure a seamless workflow. • Assist in mentoring and training junior staff members as needed. • Assist in marketing execution Requirements • Bachelor's Degree in reputed company, Finance, or a reputed company field. • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in tax preparation. • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations. • Proficiency in UltraTax tax preparation software and reputed company Office Suite. • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. • Superior communication skills, both verbal and written. • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
