[Remote] Security Program Manager-100% Remote

TEKsystems is a leading provider of business and technology services, currently seeking an experienced Security Program Manager for a 100% Remote 6-month contract to hire. The role involves managing and executing enterprise-wide security programs to ensure the business operates securely and protects its assets and people.
Responsibilities
• Fully own the mission, goals, operations, and results of the group. This responsibility is non-delegable
• Provide strong leadership to senior management team/s and direct reports. This includes generating enthusiasm and shared commitment; identifying and setting new directions; teaching, growing, and empowering; owning outcomes; and leading by example. This responsibility is non-delegable. Specific leadership duties include:
• Promoting the vision and tone for the department, consistent with company culture and mission
• Providing clear goals and performance expectations
• Hiring individuals who can accomplish those goals and meet those expectations, and providing them the open communications, training, tools, and mentoring they need to be successful and develop professionally, and a development path commensurate with capabilities and potential
• Providing clear and accurate feedback to individuals and teams on a timely and consistent basis. Identifying and addressing performance problems early and effectively before they damage interests and demoralize other employees. These processes include annual performance reviews, compensation adjustments, promotions, demotions, transfers, and disciplinary actions up to and including termination
• Manage programs, projects, and assigned project managers to ensure groups are meeting project deliverables and financial commitments. Maximizing planning, leading, organizing, and motivating project teams to ensure cyber security and privacy are inherent requirements and deliverables, while also delivering projects that provide exceptional business value to stakeholders. Build relationships with internal and external business partners, to further promote the ESO mission
• Responsible for hiring, leading, developing and managing the performance by those reporting to this position; establishes and communicates clear performance expectations, makes recommendations for salary increases. Provide timely annual performance reviews to all direct reports. Responsible for team results and recommends and /or approves promotions, demotions, transfers or disciplinary actions up to and including termination. Maintains union free workforce through effective communication and regular feedback to employees regarding their performance against expectations, and use of effective performance recognition of groups involved
• Develop project execution methodologies that integrate the ESO mission into project delivery practices across the enterprise and multi functional team structures. Develop program planning to ensure robust budgetary discipline, resource planning and communications. Lead and participate in project planning and review meetings
• Achieve operational excellence objectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; participation in infrastructure and enterprise roadmap planning sessions, implementing productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; completing audits; identifying trends; determining system improvements; and implementing change
• Manage contract compliance, billing, contract deliverables. Manage vendors, contractors and consultants to maximize results, productivity and value. Adhere to procurement management processes
• Inspire and foster a positive, results driven, can-do culture. In conjunction with department leadership create an environment of collaboration, candor, professionalism, optimism, open and clear communication, inquisitiveness, and problem solving oriented to results
Skills
• Demonstrated knowledge maintaining organization's effectiveness and efficiency by defining, delivering, and supporting strategic plans for implementing organizational security strategies
• Strategic planning
• Financial development, management and planning
• Indepth knowledge of program & project management methodologies
• Experience with performing compliance and risk assessment audits
• Ability to work and coordinate with multi-team environment including program managers, business analyst, IT analyst and other security professionals
• Experience with Program Management, Project Management & GRC software
• Experience with the common regulatory controls, such as: ISO 27001, NIST 800-53, SOX, PCI, SSAE16, SOC I & 2, HIPPA / HITRUST, COSO, COBIT is highly desirable
• In-Depth understanding and working knowledge of information security data and processes is highly desirable
