Tutors will have the flexibility to set their own schedules and provide personalized instruction to students, making a significant impact on their academic success. Responsibilities • Provide personalized instruction to individual students • Accept on-demand tutoring requests whenever you're available Skills • Advanced Subject Mastery: Deep knowledge of practical Spanish vocabulary for everyday situations, conversational grammar, pronunciation and intonation, listening comprehension, cultural context, and regional vocabulary variations across the Spanish-speaking world. Ability to explain polite request forms, informal versus formal address, and common idiomatic expressions while preparing students for travel, workplace, or social communication in Spanish • Conceptual Teaching & Problem-Solving: Skilled at teaching spoken Spanish fluency through dialogue practice, situational role-play, and pronunciation coaching. Guides students through ordering food, asking for directions, making appointments, conducting workplace conversations, discussing family and hobbies, and navigating cultural norms. Emphasizes building speaking confidence, reducing self-correction hesitancy, and developing natural conversational flow for real-world communication • Curriculum Awareness & Adaptive Instruction: Familiar with conversational Spanish needs and common challenges such as understanding rapid native speech, overcoming speaking anxiety, and managing regional accent differences.
