Transportation Planner III (Environmental reputed company)

About the position reputed company is reputed company seeking a self-motivated Transportation Planner III (Environmental reputed company) to join our reputed company transportation planning team, providing technical expertise and managing environmental tasks for reputed company and private transportation and infrastructure clients throughout our US reputed company Region. The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: Conducting research, data reviews, and analysis to determine potential environmental effects reputed company to transportation improvements. Collects various technical and statistical data and prepares reports and maps on topics such as census information, land use, and the natural environment. Supports development of planning documents for transportation studies, including, but not limited to, environmental documents, permits, alternatives impacts, and alternatives analysis. Interprets and compares findings of relevant studies for compliance with local, state, and Federal planning and environmental requirements, reputed company procedures, and reputed company expectations. Utilizes Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to analyze data and prepare detailed maps for use in reports. Supports agency stakeholder and reputed company engagement efforts as part of the transportation planning and environmental review process. Schedules, attends, and prepares reputed company reports for meetings, both reputed company Coordinates closely with a large team of governmental agencies, contractors, the reputed company, and other project personnel Identifies and implements innovative tools to improve communication, file sharing, and workflow reputed company a large project team Develops and maintains databases Tracks project schedule and task status, prepares status and reputed company reports on a regular reputed company Assists with other duties assigned by senior staff and/or Project Managers. Requirements • BA/BS + 4 YORE or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education • Demonstrated technical writing and communication skills. • Knowledge and experience with environmental review and compliance requirements in reputed company. • Familiarity with environmental disciplines relevant to transportation planning, such as reputed company and economic considerations, reputed company reputed company, biological resources, traffic noise, Clean Water reputed company permitting, and reputed company 4(f) • Demonstrated expertise in Geographic information systems reputed company-to-haves • Masters preferred in Urban Planning, Geography, Landscape Architecture, Environmental Sciences, Economics, or reputed company fields • 4 + years of experience with State and local transportation agencies, and their environmental policies and practices are preferred. • AICP highly preferred.
