In this role, you will build your financial planning competence, partner closely with advisors or relationship managers, receive support and mentorship, and have the opportunity to obtain the licensing and credentials necessary to lay the foundation needed for an exciting career in financial planning. When you join Vanguard, you’ll help steer the financial futures of our clients. Responsibilities • Support AWM clients by phone, addressing a broad range of inquiries and coordinating with business partners to meet their needs. • Receive training curriculum, shadowing, exposure to related business groups and support from advisors/relationship managers • Partner with financial advisors to complete key planning activities, including portfolio implementation and rebalancing. • Strengthen your investment acumen through training in brokerage trading, ETFs, and Vanguard’s products and services. • Research and resolve complex client requests, contributing to smooth execution of transactions and service processes across support group functions. • Participate in special projects that enhance the client experience and overall Advice and Wealth Management outcomes. Requirements • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience is required. • Learning agility to successfully pass the SIE, Series 7, and Series 63 or Series 66 (or equivalent licenses) within the time frame described in Vanguard’s FINRA Licensing Policy by using resources and support provided by Vanguard. • Interest in financial planning, investment advice, and wealth management. • Learning agility to gain understanding and demonstrate the execution of financial planning process. • Excellent written, verbal, and Client Relationship Management (CRM) skills. • Positive demeanor with the ability to effectively handle change in an ambiguous environment. • Ability to work independently and as a team member, balance multiple responsibilities simultaneously, and demonstrate exceptional time management skills.
