**Job Summary**
As a Customer Service and Sales associate at arenaflex, you will be responsible for providing fast, friendly service to our customers, learning about our products, and selling entire projects to meet their needs. You will work closely with your Department Supervisor and other associates in your department as well as other departments to ensure a safe and shop-able environment for our customers. Your responsibilities will include:
* Greeting and qualifying customers to assess their needs and provide assistance
* Learning about products using our tools and providing information to customers to sell entire projects
* Maintaining the in-stock condition of assigned areas, ensuring they are clean, shop-able, and safe
* Providing a safe working and shopping environment by following all safety policies & standards, completing specified safety training, and reporting hazards or unsafe conditions to the Manager on Duty
* Working in cooperation with your Department Supervisor and other associates in your department as well as other departments
* Participating in sales and customer service initiatives to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Provide fast, friendly service to customers, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner
* Learn about products using our tools and provide information to customers to sell entire projects
* Maintain the in-stock condition of assigned areas, ensuring they are clean, shop-able, and safe
* Provide a safe working and shopping environment by following all safety policies & standards, completing specified safety training, and reporting hazards or unsafe conditions to the Manager on Duty
* Work in cooperation with your Department Supervisor and other associates in your department as well as other departments
* Participate in sales and customer service initiatives to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction
* Meet or exceed sales and customer service targets, as set by your Department Supervisor
* Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of our products, services, and promotions to effectively communicate with customers and drive sales growth
**Essential Qualifications:**
* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
* 1-2 years of customer service or sales experience, preferably in a retail or construction-related environment
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and management
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions
* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and move freely throughout the store
* Availability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends
**Preferred Qualifications:**
* Experience working in a retail or construction-related environment, with a strong knowledge of building materials and home improvement products
* Certification in customer service or sales, such as the Certified Customer Service Representative (CCSR) or the Certified Sales Professional (CSP)
* Strong knowledge of sales and customer service principles, with the ability to apply them in a fast-paced retail environment
* Experience working with a team, with a strong ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with colleagues
* Ability to learn and adapt quickly, with a strong desire to continuously improve and grow as a professional
