Bilingual Bookkeeper 100% Remote
About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented, tech-savvy Bilingual Bookkeeper to join our growing team. You will be the backbone of our financial clarity, ensuring every transaction is accounted for and every report is pinpoint accurate.
As a 100% remote position, we value autonomy, proactivity, and crystal-clear communication. If you find joy in a perfectly reconciled bank statement and speak "accounting" in both English and Spanish, we want to meet you.
Key Responsibilities
- Full-Cycle Bookkeeping: Manage accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and payroll processing.
- Reconciliations: Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations with 100% accuracy.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly Balance Sheets, P&L statements, and cash flow reports.
- Data Integrity: Maintain an organized digital filing system and ensure all financial records are up to date.
- Communication: Coordinate with the management team in English regarding financial health and discrepancies.
Requirements
- Language: Native or near-native Spanish and fluent English (written and spoken).
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles.
- Software Proficiency: Expert level in QuickBooks Online or Xero. Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets is a must.
- Remote Work Skills: Proven ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and use tools like Slack, Zoom, and Asana/Trello.
- Education: Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
