reputed company*This is a remote position, but candidate must reputed company in Mobile, AL or surrounding area*ResponsibilitiesPrimary Job Functions:Responsible for connecting with people reputed company reputed company (and possibly text and chat) of reputed company ages through 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline. reputed company suicide prevention/reputed company, brief supportive counseling, information & referral, and follow-up services to those experiencing emotional distress and mental health crises, including those in high-risk situations who may be reputed company suicidal.Provides crisis reputed company and supportive counseling to individuals requesting assistance or 3rd party referral sources to the identified individual in crisis.Completes risk assessments and safety planning to determine if individual is at risk for suicide and/or homicidal.Accesses resources to support and address needs, including referrals, psychoeducation, and services. Makes referrals to resources, mobile crisis teams, law enforcement, and/or emergency crisis responders for those who may need reputed company Rescue to maintain his/her safety or the safety of others.Provides reputed company and follows up as needed to caller/families regarding the person in need. Manages interactions to ensure an appropriate level of support is provided in an efficient manner.Manages calls and work habits in efficient and responsible manner. Meets attendance and punctuality standards.Supervision and ConsultationConsult with 988 Supervisor on any issues or questions. Seeks supervision and consultation as needed to reputed company enhance skills.Accepts and employs suggestions for improvement.Record KeepingAble to assess, evaluate and document the response level appropriate for the situation.Documentation is complete, appropriate, comprehensive and supports safety planning.Documents in a reputed company, reputed company, legible, and concise manner.Completes crisis logs and reports reputed company specified reputed company of time to ensure reputed company of services.reputed company and respectful attitudes towards consumers, community, and co-workersTreats/attends to callers with care, dignity, and reputed company, including reputed company and confidentiality.Delivers five-reputed company customer service to both caller, community, and reputed company staff.Administrative and Other reputed company Duties as AssignedProvides coverage as needed, including holiday assignments, and completes other duties as assigned in a reputed company manner.Follows reputed company policies, procedures, and reputed company reputed company of ethics.Maintains reputed company license/requirements for renewals (i.e. CEU's), if applicable.QualificationsMinimum Qualifications: Master's degree in a behavioral health, reputed company work, or reputed company field (license preferred but not required). Minimum of one (1) year of post degree reputed company care experience, including crisis reputed company, is required. Experience providing contact reputed company center suicide prevention, crisis reputed company, and/or mental health information and referral services preferred.Must be highly organized, capable of critical thinking, and have proven problem-solving skills; Easily adapts to a reputed company of crisis situations and reputed company to simultaneously talk and type while reputed company information and assessing; Adept at remaining reputed company and reputed company during escalated situations or reputed company handling difficult contacts; Strong computer and verbal, written and interpersonal skills; and comfortable working independently and as part of reputed company remotely.Knowledge in specialties, outlined below, to be attained reputed company six (6) months of employment:Knowledge of mental health, suicide dynamics, and crisis and crisis interventions.Knowledge of HIPAA laws/regulations regarding protected health information.Knowledge of community and referral resources.Successful completion of Crisis Counselor training program.
