Strategic Planning & Analysis Manager – G&A
What we're looking for
We are a dynamic team of former investment bankers, consultants, and technology finance professionals that enjoy solving the challenges that come with rapid scaling. Our goal is to grow Momentive as fast, and as profitably, as possible. Our role is to guide and inform some of Momentive's most important business and financial decisions.
We are looking for a strategic planning and analysis manager to join our PTG (Product, Technology, and G&A) team. In this high visibility role, you will partner with senior leaders across Momentive's G&A functions and be the main strategic finance partner to support operational and financial planning, business analysis. You will enjoy a steep learning curve, a platform to influence significant decisions, exposure to Momentive's senior leadership team, and the benefit of driving strategic projects. You will contribute to Momentive's growth and help solve some of our most difficult problems, with a direct connection between your activities and our success.
You will
• Embed with the business and provide strategic finance partnership to senior leaders (including CFO, CPO, CLO, CDIO) across the G&A organizations
• Manage end-to-end financial planning/forecasting (current quarter, current year, multi-year) for the G&A organization, looking for and driving ways to improve accuracy and efficiency
• Provide data-driven insights to business partners to help achieve the department's priorities
• Identify and drive the optimization of financial performance through process improvement, influence leadership consensus and implementing solutions across the organization
• Help develop a high-performing Strategic Planning & Analysis team
• Provide regular analysis and insights that improve our strategy and operational plans
• Partner with our corporate finance team to bring analysis and reporting to our Board of Directors
You have
• You have 4+ years of directly applicable experience with time spent in Finance Operations/FP&A within a top technology company
• You are an excel expert; you take pride in your analytical and financial modeling skills and can maintain complex spreadsheets
• You are a strong communicator and are not hesitant to voice your point of view
• You can navigate networks of systems and people to find the information you need, but you do not stop there: you tell the compelling story behind the data through relevant insights and conclusions
• You are passionate about making existing processes better
• You have experience interact with executive level stakeholders
