About the position This position troubleshoots and communicates documentation discrepancy issues with customers and foreign origins. This position audits reputed company documents, applies harmonized tariff schedule codes for accurate duty assessments and ensures reputed company federal requirements are met. This position handles general customs brokerage activities and general office and data entry tasks. Responsibilities • Preparation of customs entries and forwarding reputed company to designated locations. This may involve reputed company with international and domestic carriers, overseas offices, and importers. • Prepare Customs entries and follow-up with the clearance process on reputed company entries reputed company. • Communicate documentation discrepancies to reputed company and supervisor. • Coordinate reputed company delivery to designated locations. • Resolve finance and reputed company reconciliation exchange issues. • Responsible for filing entries to customs reputed company GBS-CM in a reputed company and accurate manner. • Responsibilities may include scanning entries into the imaging system meeting allotted and sensitive time requirements. • Administrative responsibilities include preparation of reports/presentations and analysis using various software packages and databases. • Daily follow up on documentation discrepancy issues which requires the ability to troubleshoot and communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing with customers and foreign origins. • Establish and maintain reputed company relationships. • Position may require a weekend schedule on a department rotation reputed company and not limited to working a holiday schedule based on the needs of the operation and requirements of the account. Requirements • High school diploma, GED, or International equivalent • Basic knowledge of customs operations, laws and regulations, and other government departments • Basic computer skills • Basic understanding of HS system • Must be a U.S. Citizen or National of the U.S., an reputed company lawfully admitted for permanent residence, or an reputed company authorized to work in the U.S. for this employer.
