This is a premier opportunity to serve as a Central Lab Subject Matter Expert within a sophisticated Vendor Strategy and Relationship (VSR) team. You will drive operational excellence across the full vendor lifecycle, bridging the gap between clinical study teams and third-party providers to ensure seamless execution in low-to-mid complexity therapeutic areas. responsibilities:
• Execute vendor selection strategies in collaboration with business and clinical study teams.
• Lead early engagement activities and internal/joint vendor kick-off meetings to advise on design risks and trends.
• Conduct high-level reviews of key vendor documents, including contracts and study specifications, to ensure quality alignment.
• Provide financial health support and manage study-level escalations according to established plans.
• Analyze operational metrics and trends to implement mitigation solutions that optimize TA performance.
• Educate study teams on database lock and close-out processes while providing risk mitigation guidance.
• Develop TA standards and training resources, leading multi-study lessons learned sessions across the organization.
qualifications:
Required Skills
• Bachelor's degree in Business Economics, Science, Health Administration, or a related field.
• 3+ years of clinical development experience within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
• 3+ years of direct experience working with third-party vendors.
• Demonstrated Central Lab Subject Matter Expertise (SME).
• Proficiency in SOPs, ICH, Global Regulations, and Ethics/Compliance.
• Strong negotiation, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
• Experience managing cross-functional initiatives and change management.
• Expertise in analyzing intermediate business problems to design innovative data-driven solutions.
• Proven ability to influence internal and external stakeholders in a collaborative environment.
