Position Overview – Uniformed Loss Prevention & Customer Service Associate

Located in the bustling community of Yonkers, NY, the Uniformed Loss Prevention & Customer Service Associate plays a critical role in safeguarding the store environment while delivering an outstanding shopping experience. Reporting directly to the District Loss Prevention Manager and working hand‑in‑hand with store leadership, you will serve as a visible deterrent to potential loss, uphold brand integrity, and ensure that every guest feels safe, welcomed, and valued.

Core Responsibilities

  • Visual Deterrence & Presence: Maintain a professional stance at the designated front‑of‑store or department area, providing a visible reminder that loss prevention is active.
  • Uniform Compliance: Wear the complete arenaflex‑approved uniform, including a body‑worn camera, to capture incidents and enhance accountability.
  • Customer Interaction: Greet guests courteously, answer basic inquiries, and direct them to the appropriate store associate or manager via a company‑issued radio.
  • Incident Observation & Reporting: Vigilantly observe, document, and report any suspicious behavior, theft attempts, or critical incidents to loss prevention leadership and store management using AIIM Case Management.
  • Emergency Preparedness: Review and become proficient with the Store Emergency Response Guide; assist in executing emergency protocols when necessary.
  • Closing Safety Sweep: Partner with a member of management to conduct a thorough safety sweep at the close of each shift, ensuring all merchandise and assets are secured.
  • Policy Adherence: Consistently apply arenaflex policies, procedures, and cultural values in every interaction and decision.
  • Collaboration with Store Teams: Build strong partnerships with sales associates, department leads, and store management to create a seamless loss‑prevention and customer‑service workflow.
  • Continuous Improvement: Provide feedback on store layout, signage, and processes that could enhance loss‑prevention effectiveness and guest satisfaction.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other tasks as assigned, including special projects, training sessions, and seasonal initiatives.

Essential Qualifications
