Based in the vibrant New England region, arenaflex blends cutting‑edge software platforms with deep industry expertise, creating a dynamic environment where data truly fuels the future of manufacturing.

Why This Role Matters

As a Data Entry Operator III at arenaflex, you will be the linchpin that ensures critical data is accurately captured, formatted, and loaded into the Global Data Mart (GDM)—the central repository that supports both local and worldwide manufacturing operations. Your work will directly influence production planning, quality assurance, regulatory compliance, and real‑time decision‑making across multiple plants and business units.

Key Responsibilities

  • Transcribe high‑volume, mission‑critical data from a variety of source documents (paper forms, PDFs, electronic spreadsheets, and scanned images) into the Global Data Mart (GDM) with 99.9% accuracy.
  • Validate source information for completeness, consistency, and compliance with arenaflex’s data governance standards before entry.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—including Production, Quality Control, Supply Chain, and IT—to resolve data discrepancies and clarify ambiguous entries.
  • Execute routine data quality checks, flagging and correcting anomalies, duplicates, or outliers in accordance with established SOPs.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of data entry procedures, exceptions, and resolution steps to support audit trails and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in periodic data migration projects, providing expertise on legacy data formats and supporting the transition to new GDM modules.
  • Assist in training junior data entry staff and act as a subject‑matter expert for best practices in data transcription and validation.
  • Contribute to the development of automated data capture tools by providing feedback on workflow bottlenecks and suggesting enhancements.
  • Adhere to security protocols and confidentiality agreements, ensuring that all proprietary and personal information is handled safely.
  • Provide timely status reports to the Data Management Lead, highlighting throughput metrics, error rates, and any escalated issues.

Essential Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in high‑volume data entry, data validation, or related administrative roles within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Proven track record of maintaining accuracy rates of 99% + while meeting or exceeding daily entry volume targets.
  • Strong familiarity with database management systems and enterprise resource planning (ERP) platforms, preferably experience with large‑scale data marts.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to spot inconsistencies and transcription errors quickly.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite—especially Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros) and Word—as well as data‑import tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with diverse internal stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to follow strict procedural guidelines and maintain thorough documentation.
  • High level of integrity and a commitment to safeguarding confidential and proprietary information.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience with data‑capture automation technologies such as OCR (Optical Character Recognition) and AI‑assisted transcription.
  • Familiarity with industry‑standard data governance frameworks (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 27001) and compliance requirements.
  • Previous exposure to Lean or Six Sigma methodologies, especially in data‑driven process improvement projects.
  • Certification in data management (e.g., CDMP – Certified Data Management Professional) or related credentials.

Core Skills & Competencies

  • Analytical Acumen: Ability to interpret raw data, recognize patterns, and ensure logical consistency across entries.
  • Time Management: Strong organizational skills to handle multiple data streams and meet tight deadlines without sacrificing accuracy.
