Position Overview

The Long‑Term Care (LTC) Pharmacy Technician – Data Entry at arenaflex plays a pivotal role in supporting the medication therapy process for residents of skilled nursing facilities and assisted living communities. This full‑time, hourly position ($17‑$25/hr, commensurate with experience) focuses primarily on accurate data entry, prescription processing, and communication with nursing staff, while adhering to all regulatory and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enter prescription orders into the arenaflex pharmacy management system with a focus on accuracy and speed.
  • Validate patient information, dosage calculations, and medication administration times against physician orders and facility protocols.
  • Maintain up‑to‑date medication profiles, including changes in therapy, discontinued drugs, and new prescriptions.

Essential Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1‑2 years of experience in a pharmacy setting, preferably in long‑term care or hospital environments.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with pharmacy management software (e.g., PioneerRx, QS/1, or similar platforms).
  • Strong mathematical aptitude and attention to detail for dosage calculations and data verification.
