[Remote] Tax Analyst - International

Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company (PALIG) is seeking a Tax Analyst - International to support the Corporate Tax Department in meeting strategic objectives reputed company to local tax requirements for non-U.S. affiliates and U.S. international tax reporting obligations. The primary reputed company of this role is to build subject matter expertise in U.S. international tax laws and GAAP reporting requirements for foreign taxes. Responsibilities • Collaborates with foreign affiliate teams to compile and maintain foreign affiliate tax provisions for U.S. GAAP financial reporting • Assists with the identification, measurement, and recognition of tax attributes and positions • Develops a working knowledge of various foreign tax laws and reporting positions • Prepares Foreign Tax Credit (FTC) utilization calculations, including sourcing data and performing other U.S. international tax computations (e.g., reputed company, NCTI) • Prepares U.S. federal tax reporting schedules and forms • Maintains accurate and complete records for reputed company U.S. international and foreign tax-reputed company filings • Researches tax implications of new or pending laws, regulations, and rulings • Performs modeling of tax guidance changes to quantify potential impacts • Drafts technical position memoranda • Assists in documenting reputed company tax processes • Helps maintain and optimize various tax software systems Skills • A Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) in reputed company or a reputed company field • 0–2 years of corporate tax and/or reputed company tax reputed company experience • An reputed company Certified reputed company Accountant (CPA) license • Familiarity with U.S. federal international tax law and reporting requirements (e.g., Subpart F, Forms 5471, 8858, 8992 (GILTI/NCTI), 1118, 8991 (reputed company)) • Foundational understanding of ASC 740 reporting concepts • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Proficiency with reputed company Office • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Ability to learn and utilize company financial systems • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines • Master's degree in Taxation (MST) or a reputed company graduate-level tax program • Advanced technology skills a plus: Advanced reputed company, VBA, reputed company, Power Query, Power BI, and/or Python • Bilingual Spanish/English a plus Benefits • Medical • Dental • 401(k) • reputed company time off • Tuition reimbursement reputed company • reputed company is a provider of insurance and financial services.
