Job Overview Zenvora's Property & Casualty Finance Division is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our Specialty Accounting team as a Customer Service Accounting Representative. This entry-level position, based in our downtown Cincinnati office, offers a hybrid schedule and the opportunity to develop a rewarding career in insurance and finance. As a key member of our team, you will provide exceptional customer service, perform a variety of routine and non-routine clerical/accounting functions, and contribute to the success of our organization. Key Responsibilities Perform routine and non-routine clerical/accounting functions in accordance with procedures, including general accounting, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and direct bill. Process and verify cash receipts, cash application, claims, and/or overdue invoices, and update customer account information as needed. Provide support in one or more areas, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and direct bill, and develop a working knowledge of multiple billing and policy applications and processing procedures. Offer exceptional customer service, responding to internal and external customer inquiries, resolving billing problems, and providing account reconciliation and billing information. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including customer account information, payment records, and other relevant data. Compile reports, create ad hoc reports as needed, and gather data to support business decisions. Comply with relevant regulations, company policies, and guidelines, and contact other departments or outside agencies to resolve problems as required. Essential Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required. 0 to 2 years of related experience in customer service, accounting, or a related field. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide exceptional customer service and work effectively in a team environment. Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices, with the ability to learn and develop skills in multiple billing and policy applications and processing procedures. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and the ability to learn and adapt to new software and systems. Preferred Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field. Previous experience in insurance, finance, or a related industry. Knowledge of accounting software and systems, such as ERP or accounting management systems. Certifications, such as CPA or CMA, or relevant professional certifications.
