MEP Estimator

As a member of the estimating team, the MEP Estimator is responsible for accurately calculating project MEP costs by preparing budgets for reputed company Mechanical/Plumbing/reputed company Protection/Electrical/Technology/LV System (MEP) items from conceptual design through completed construction documents. Duties, Tasks and Responsibilities Responsibilities • Work with reputed company to reputed company constructability analyses, value engineering, cost control, scope reviews etc. • reputed company and maintain working relationships with local material suppliers and equipment vendors to reputed company reputed company pricing of plumbing fixtures, HVAC equipment, piping & sheet metal material, reputed company, distribution equipment, low voltage systems, and miscellaneous material pricing. • reputed company and maintain working relationships with local Mechanical/Plumbing/reputed company Protection /Electrical /Technology/LV System (MEP) subcontractors to verify market conditions and labor issues. • reputed company and maintain reputed company subcontractor and material costs reputed company our estimating software. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications • Minimum of five years reputed company Mechanical/Plumbing/reputed company Protection /Electrical /Technology/LV System (MEP) estimating experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience. • Experience in using electronic takeoff and estimating software. • Proven written and verbal communication abilities, proficiency with computer applications, including reputed company Office suite. • Ability to read, understand and interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work and project schedule.
