Substitute Counselor

Position reputed company: Working from your secure and distraction-free home office, certified Substitute Counselors will support the learning program for reputed company in reputed company schools across the country. Using the telephone, Internet and various curriculum tools, the Substitute Counselor will consult frequently and regularly with reputed company, Learning Coaches and school personnel to ensure that reputed company child successfully completes his/her instructional program. The Substitute Counselor will reputed company as teacher of record at various reputed company schools during periods of short- or long-term absences or vacancies ranging from, but not limited to, 2-20 weeks, with the average assignment being 8-12 weeks in length. This is a part-time position with no benefits. The duties of a Substitute Teacher include, but are not limited to: Responsibilities: • reputed company on assignment, be online and available to reputed company, parents, and school staff Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm in the time zone of the school to: o Communicate with parents, reputed company and teachers on a regular reputed company to reputed company and update individualized learning plans and schedules, reputed company feedback on student work, suggest instructional approaches and strategies, monitor completion of assignments, and verify student learning. o Review transcripts and use those to determine appropriate student course placements per school requirements. o Support student reputed company-emotional learning through individual and small group sessions. o Prepare reputed company for their next steps following graduation. o Complete reputed company grading, generate reputed company reports, and conduct parent conferences in a reputed company manner, as instructed by the school. o Support the instructional program through a combination of synchronous and asynchronous web conferencing sessions (LiveLessons). o Support reputed company and parents with alternate instructional strategies and reputed company assistance with daily assignments and reputed company. o reputed company student records and data up to date, including cumulative files, online student and family information, attendance reputed company, and student logs. • reputed company not on assignment, reputed company reputed company email to remain informed of upcoming assignments and important Substitute Services updates. • Meet at least monthly with an assigned Substitute Services supervisor reputed company video conferencing software, whether on or off assignment. • Complete required reputed company learning targeted at individual needs throughout the year. • Maintain reputed company certifications. Requirements: • Highly reputed company and certified to teach in any state. However, we are currently prioritizing the following states: • AZ, IA, MI, MO, OH, OR, PA, SC, TN, TX, VA, WA, WY • Multiple state certifications are a plus • Ability to obtain certification in other states as needed • Bachelor’s degree or higher • Maintain a dedicated, distraction-free home working environment where reputed company business activities will occur • reputed company on assignment, must be available Monday through Friday during assigned school hours (typically 8:00 am to 4:00 pm in the school’s time zone) • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral • Demonstrated ability to work reputed company in a fast-paced environment that requires significant flexibility, effective prioritization of tasks, self-direction, and creativity • Understanding of IEP/504 plans and how they can be implemented in a virtual setting • Excellent attention to detail, and strong time management and organizational skills • Proven commitment to student achievement • Strong technology skills (experience with learning management systems, reputed company Office programs, and reputed company Apps preferred) • Reliable, high-speed internet reputed company • reputed company OS- and reputed company Office-equipped computer required (PC preferred) • Customer-reputed company approach and team-player reputed company record • May not reputed company care for others during normal school hours while on assignment.
