A contract position is available for a Social Worker skilled in telehealth and school-based services, located in Portage, MI. This opportunity involves supporting special education students requiring social work services as outlined in their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Key responsibilities include: • Providing telehealth and in-person social work services to a current caseload of 10 special education students. • Collaborating with educational staff to develop and implement individualized support plans. • Assessing student needs and advocating for appropriate resources and interventions. • Maintaining detailed documentation of services and progress in compliance with regulatory and school policies. • Facilitating communication between students, families, and school personnel to enhance social-emotional development and academic success. Desired qualifications and experience: • Licensed social worker with relevant state certification. • Experience delivering social work services in school settings, particularly with special education populations. • Proficiency in telehealth service delivery and related technologies. • Ability to manage caseloads efficiently while providing compassionate, student-centered care. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
