Job Title: Salesforce CPQ Architect with RCA Location: Remote/Newark, NJ Long term contract role Experience: 12+ Years Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced Salesforce CPQ Architect to lead the design and implementation of scalable CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) solutions on the Salesforce platform. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, solution architects, and development teams to design complex CPQ configurations, pricing models, and integrations that support business processes. Key Responsibilities: • Design and architect end-to-end Salesforce CPQ solutions based on business requirements. • Lead CPQ implementation, customization, and optimization across the Salesforce ecosystem. • Define product configuration, pricing strategies, discount structures, and quoting processes. • Design scalable CPQ architecture including product bundles, price rules, and approval workflows. • Collaborate with business teams to gather and analyze functional and technical requirements. • Provide technical leadership and guidance to developers and administrators. • Ensure best practices for CPQ configuration, data modeling, and performance optimization. • Integrate Salesforce CPQ with other enterprise systems such as ERP, billing, and finance systems. • Conduct solution reviews, architecture governance, and code reviews. • Support deployment planning, testing strategies, and release management. Required Skills: • Extensive experience with Salesforce CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote). • Strong knowledge of Salesforce architecture and platform capabilities. • Experience with Apex, SOQL, Lightning components, and integrations. • Expertise in product catalog design, bundle configuration, and pricing models. • Strong understanding of quote lifecycle management and approval processes. • Experience with REST/SOAP APIs and system integrations. • Knowledge of Salesforce data modeling and security architecture. • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
