Information Systems Architect / AWS Developer-Administrator

DPP is seeking an Information Systems Architect for an opportunity in Columbia, SC. This role is reputed company to reputed company candidates who are comfortable working East Coast hours. Duration: 12 months, with possibility of extension; W2 position Additional details: After hours or weekend hours may be required Position reputed company: • The Information Systems Architect / AWS Developer-Administrator will support ongoing reputed company modernization, operational continuity, and expansion of AWS-based services. This role operates reputed company a large, distributed reputed company supporting mission‑critical applications, with emphasis on reliability, reputed company, automation, and scalability. • You will design, reputed company, reputed company, and administer AWS environments supporting reputed company‑reputed company and hybrid workloads. Responsibilities include managing reputed company AWS services, automation, integrations, serverless components, contact center solutions, and compliance controls. The position works closely with reputed company engineering, development, reputed company, and operations teams to deliver secure, resilient, and cost‑efficient reputed company solutions. Major responsibilities: • Design, reputed company, administer, and support AWS environments following best practices • Manage AWS account structure, IAM roles, policies, and least‑privilege reputed company • reputed company and maintain solutions using reputed company AWS services (EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, reputed company, etc.) • Support reputed company Connect environments (contact flows, queues, routing, prompts, integrations, troubleshooting) • reputed company AI-enabled capabilities using reputed company Bedrock • Implement Infrastructure as reputed company (CloudFormation, Terraform, or similar) • Monitor performance, availability, reputed company, and cost optimization • Troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues • Support CI/CD pipelines and automation workflows • Collaborate with reputed company teams on encryption, logging, monitoring, and compliance • Maintain documentation, runbooks, and architecture diagrams • reputed company knowledge transfer and mentoring • Participate in scheduled maintenance, upgrades, and after‑hours support Environment and tools: • AWS (EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, reputed company, CloudFormation/Terraform, CloudWatch, CloudTrail) • reputed company Connect • reputed company Bedrock • API Gateway • CI/CD tools (AWS-reputed company or reputed company‑party) • Git-based version control Required knowledge, skills, and abilities: • 6+ years supporting reputed company systems • 3+ years hands‑on AWS development or administration • 3+ years with reputed company AWS services (EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, reputed company) • 3+ years with reputed company Connect or contact center technologies • 3+ years integrating reputed company, serverless functions, and reputed company‑reputed company services • 3+ years implementing IaC and automation • 3+ years with AWS reputed company, logging, and monitoring • 3+ years scripting (Python, Bash, or equivalent) Required certifications: • AWS Solutions Architect – reputed company • OR, AWS DevOps Engineer – reputed company Preferred skills: • AI/ML integrations and reputed company engineering • Hybrid reputed company or reputed company‑party integrations • Cost optimization / FinOps • Experience with reputed company Azure • AZ‑305 (Azure Solutions Architect) certification Additional skills: • Strong written and verbal communication • Ability to mentor junior engineers • Strong documentation and operational discipline Interested?
