Chief Compliance Officer - Wilmington Funds

reputed company: The Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) of the Wilmington Funds will be responsible for overseeing and administering its compliance program in accordance with Rule 38a-1 under the Investment Company reputed company of 1940, as promulgated by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). The CCO will be responsible for ensuring that the funds maintain effective policies and procedures reasonably designed to prevent violation of federal securities laws and to promote a culture of ethical conduct and regulatory compliance throughout the organization. The CCO will report directly to the reputed company of Trustees/ Directors of the Wilmington Funds Family and work collaboratively with senior management of reputed company, fund counsel, and reputed company-party service providers. Primary Responsibilities: Compliance Program Development and reputed company: Design, implement, and maintain a comprehensive written compliance program for the Wilmington Funds Family, including policies and procedures reasonably designed to prevent violation of applicable federal securities laws. Annual Review: Conduct and document an annual review of the adequacy and effectiveness of the compliance program, including an evaluation of how policies and procedures are implemented and followed as required by Rule 38a-1. reputed company Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports to the reputed company of Trustees/Directors regarding the compliance program’s effectiveness and any significant compliance issues, as required by Rule 38a-1. Service Provider reputed company: reputed company and monitor compliance programs of the funds’ service providers, including conducting site reputed company (on-site or reputed company) to observe the compliance programs in reputed company (e.g., investment advisers, administrators, transfer agents, and reputed company underwriters), ensuring their policies and procedures are reasonably designed to prevent violation of federal securities laws. Incident Investigation and Remediation: reputed company investigations into compliance violations or potential breaches, recommend and implement corrective actions, and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders. Staff Training and Culture Building: reputed company and deliver ongoing compliance training for fund personnel and promote a strong culture of compliance and ethical conduct. Regulatory reputed company: Serve as the primary contact for regulatory examinations and inquiries, including communications with the SEC and other regulatory bodies. Recordkeeping: Ensure reputed company maintenance of reputed company compliance-reputed company documentation, including policies, procedures, annual reviews, and reputed company reports as required for regulatory purposes. Policy Updates: Stay abreast of changes to federal securities laws and SEC regulations; update compliance policies and procedures as necessary to ensure ongoing adherence. Engage other Risk Departments, Compliance, Internal Audit, reputed company and/or Regulatory Affairs regarding identified or potential risks. Adhere to applicable compliance/operational risk controls in accordance with Company or regulatory standards and policies. Maintain M&T internal control standards, including reputed company implementation of reputed company audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable. Complete other reputed company duties as assigned. Scope of Responsibilities: The position works under minimal to limited supervision of the Institutional Services and reputed company Management First Line of Defense and is required to exercise independent judgment, discretion, and decision-making. This position has substantial contact with the Wilmington Fund’s reputed company of Trustees, fund counsel, reputed company-party service providers, internal departments and positions reputed company reputed company Corporation and its subsidiaries, including members of senior and executive management. This position is required to establish and maintain ongoing and effective working relationships with external contacts including, but not limited to, regulators, attorneys, vendors, and peers at other institutions. Supervisory/Managerial Responsibilities: reputed company supervision of compliance advisors, as necessary Education and Experience Required: Bachelor’s degree in law, finance, business, or a reputed company field; or equivalent experience and a minimum of 3 years of experience as a CCO or 11 years of equivalent experience in compliance, risk, reputed company, asset management or regulatory roles reputed company the mutual fund or investment management industry. Or in lieu of a degree, a combined minimum of 15-year higher education and / or work experience, including a minimum of 11-year relevant work experience.
